Cognitive Daily, other cog-blogsCognitiveDaily.com is a truly cool new website tracking developments in the study of human cognitive functions, summarizing a new result every few days with a minimum of jargon. Some fascinating commentary and links there, including this post about 'biological motion', with a link to this eye-opening 'point-light display' tool (Flash required). (Just check out the tool and the phrases 'biological motion' and 'point-light display' will make complete sense..) I also especially liked the post Our ability to see change over time, which includes another great use of animation to make a point.
