Metro Finalists Make Professional Recordings [ABC 7 News]

Ten finalists to become the next voice on Metro announcements have endured one more hurdle as the agency tries to whittle down the competition to just one.

Three men and seven women made professional recordings of the transit agency's new "doors closing" messages at a studio Thursday in Northwest Washington.

Clearly a preference for female voices, which I do understand.

On the one hand, they say they'll do it again next year, so I can try again (and probably will, it wasn't that much work)... on the other, there'll probably be 3000 entries next time.
