O'Reilly's Open Book ProjectFree books on-line from O'Reilly: The Open Book Project. In a related move, O'Reilly is adopting the Founder's Copyright for their books - if the authors agree, the book will be released after 14 or 28 years (the original length of copyrights) under an Attribution license. This allows the authors to get nearly all of the economic value they'll ever get out of the book, then let the public have it, creating more economic value sooner. Mighty cool. 1 comment(s) That is awesome; I love O'Reily books! Thanks for posting that.Add a comment... |
