We seem to be a Nielsen family or something like it now, which makes my interest in Idol actually matter on some level.
While I so far have failed to bother at all with most realityshows -- you'd have to pay me to watch any Survivor, Apprentice, or Fear Bachelor variant -- a show where I get to watch some decent amateur singers give it their best is pretty genuinely entertaining (as long as you skip nearly all of the time-wasting crap they pack the shows with, especially the endless results-show recaps).

And just a note on baritone David Radford, who sang Crazy Little Thing Called Love in his apparently unavoidably Sinatra-esque style - Man, Mike Eisenberg outclasses him.Music 4 comment(s)
