Music toolsWow, not only is GarageBand officially shipping tomorrow, but so is the brand-new Mac OS X-native version of the Finale music notation program. (It's been delayed numerous times, so this is a big deal.)I hope they get around to shipping OS X versions of the lower-end programs too; I don't need all the immense power of Finale, I just want enough to do six voice parts. :) 4 comment(s) I already emailed Steve about this, but I was wondering if any other OSX users have USB MIDI interfaces that they like or know are good. I want to get an inexpensive one. Chris: I haven't used any USB MIDI interfaces yet; the last time I played with MIDI was when I only had Macs with serial ports. :) I am curious which ones are good though. I'll post when I get around to getting one (though it won't be that soon). Yeah, me too- anybody wanna buy a serial port MIDI interface? (cheap!) ;-) Just a followup- GarageBand and the M-Audio Midisport Uno USB MIDI interface are working well together with my MIDI keyboards.Add a comment... |
