Question: Merchant accountsQuestion for readers: I'm looking for a good Merchant Account provider (reliable, reasonable price, etc.) for a website which will take credit cards. Anyone with a favorite or a horror story, please share.Verisign (ew, I know) has received the best recommendation I've heard so far, but their site's been inaccessible for a whole day so it's pretty hard to sign up with them (and that sure doesn't build my confidence). Thoughts? 3 comment(s) PayPal has been painless for the last few years for me. There's a charge for web purchases, but they keep a good record of both purchases and charges. Folks don't have to join PayPal in order to place a credit card order through them . . . for what it's worth. perhaps I misunderstand the question... The vendor supports a few different gateways but not paypal's.. we ended up going with goEmerchant.com, which seems to have reasonable rates. I suggest you check out the www.merchantrates.com calculator. Name your own rates & fees and get a custom quote in seconds online.Add a comment... |
