Burger and a movie: Not a sign of the apocalypse, but at least worthy of note: McDonald's is testing DVD-rental machines outside some branches [Washington Post]. Uhh, synergistically.

I think it would make at least as much sense to be able to request/rent DVDs with your delivered pizza or Chinese.

What's coming Tuesday at MacWorld, at least according to Think Secret: $50 iMovie/iPhoto/iDVD upgrade bundle, higher-speed wireless connections, no major upgrades to laptops or desktops or monitors, and hopefully something completely new to make up for the relative lameness of all that.
