Set the food processor on 'shrapnelize'.
Under 'reason for dismissal' on the trustworthy auditor's termination-of-employment form, the middle manager wrote: 'Enron shrapnel'.
Shrapnel from the albeit poorly aimed orange stung his eyes as it exploded on the wall beside him.
I sighed as I extricated shrapnel from the decorative watermelon. (These are cumulative, right?)
You can be cumulative if you like; good luck with the next word, though.... heh heh heh
Alice's explosive sneeze peppered her co-workers with a shrapnel spray of her mucus.
The search results for "extricate" and "shrapnel" (individually) on Google will lead you to other weblogs. Together, they will lead you to Now This. P.S. The shrapnel from discarded phrases will rain down upon Seth as he extricates words from this site to use in cumulative sentences.
Whenever attempting to explain the purpose of his weblog to others, Steve usually just sighs and says, "mental shrapnel."
Bravo, Damien! Good one! Reminds me of Seth's tagline: "The second law of thermodynamics states that any time you do anything constructive, there is a less-organized waste product. This is mine." I have no sentence. *sniff* Just not feeling very creative these days.Add a comment...
Note: I am extremely loath to ever actually do so, but I do reserve the right to remove any comment for any reason. Also, be aware that Greymatter logs your IP address. In some ways, this should go without saying, but the first time I remove a comment (if it ever happens, which I'm hoping it won't), someone (who was probably anonymous in the first place) would pitch a fit and say it was censorship, oppression, etc. Only governments can censor; everybody else is a private actor when it comes to their own web space. And web space is not hard to come by to post one's views elsewhere using any language one chooses, so there is zero obligation on my part to provide space at my own expense for everything anyone might ever say. That said, I don't expect to ever have to delete a post. I'm not that easily offended and I don't want people thinking they have to walk on eggshells; I will never be in a hurry to pull this trigger. I just wanted this to be explicitly stated in case it ever does come up. Please speak your minds freely. Seriously. 1 comment(s)
